The Final Design
This is the final design of the catapult. It is a Mangonel, which has alternant distances it can fire a projectile, thus enabling it to attack different things at various different lengths away. The frame is made of wood, with the hooks and hinge made of metal. Some alterations had to be made to the design, as it became clear it would be to difficult to make the original way, some of the alterations were; change to the position of the axle (pivot point), removal of the beam which supports the arch, the arched were replaced with a plank of wood and the supports had to be attached to the outside of the frame (not attached flush with the frame).
